As part of CodeJuniors’ social mission to have learning to code accessible to as many kids as possible, we run Hour of Code sessions FREE OF CHARGE.
You can find us at events (public or privately organized events) or at schools, mainly in Klang Valley.
Hour of Code
Hour of Code is a one-hour, introductory class in coding and computer science taking place at thousands of locations around the world in December every year. Lead by code.org, it is designed to demystify code and show that anybody can learn the basics of coding. Through this global movement, over 100 million students have tried an Hour of Code.
Angry Birds, Ice Age, Frozen, Minecraft, Star Wars and more!
In these fun exercises from code.org, students will learn how to use basic functions like loops and conditional statements to move Angry Bird and Ice Age characters inside of a maze. They will even learn basic, code-drawing techniques to ask the princesses from Frozen to sketch snowflake patterns on ice!
To participate in the Hour of Code, please register your interest.
(Minimum age: 6 years and above. Requires at least 6 kids to form a class. Maximum 10 kids per class).
